HC Deb 20 March 1930 vol 236 cc2156-7W
Mr. DAY

asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the public importance of the Chancellor of the Exchequer's Budget speech, he will consider the advisability of giving facilities to have the same broadcast?

The PRIME MINISTER

I have ascertained through the usual channels that the suggestion of my hon. Friend does not commend itself to a considerable section of the House, and, in these circumstances, I cannot adopt it.
