§ Mr. SHORTIn accordance with the Racecourse Betting Act the Board will submit to my right hon. Friend the Home Secretary a report for the period ended 31st December last, and this report will be presented by him to Parliament. The report has not yet been received, and a little time must necessarily elapse before it is ready. My right hon. Friend has no control over the Board's expenditure, and he would suggest that the hon. Member should await the report.
