asked the Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department the value of the credit facilities extended to trading operations connected with Poland during each of the last five years?

The total amounts of contracts under the Export Credits Guarantee Scheme, which came into operation on 1st July, 1926, in respect of exports to Poland are as follow:

21 months ended 31st March, 1928, £98,929.

12 months ended 31st March, 1929, £194,937.

11 months ended 28th February, 1930, £105,107.

I regret that figures in regard to earlier schemes are not available.
