§ Sir H. CAYZERasked the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies whether a Report has yet been received from the Governor of Ceylon regarding cases of Ceylonese parents selling their children for domestic service and the alleged cruelty and ill-treatment to which these children are subjected; and, if so, whether he will cause it to be published?
§ Dr. SHIELSA despatch on the subject was received in August last. I doubt whether it is necessary to issue it as a Parliamentary Paper; but a copy will be immediately placed in the Library of this House.
