§ Sir R. ASKEasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will favourably consider the exemption from annual duties of motor vehicles used solely for the benefit of invalids?
§ Mr. HERBERT MORRISONI have been asked to answer this question. I presume the hon. Member refers to mechanically-propelled vehicles not exceeding 5 cwt. in weight unladen, adapted and used for invalids, upon which the annual tax is five shillings. I do not think there is any ground for remitting this tax.
