The remuneration for the year ended 31st March, 1929, of the Judiciary, the Civil Service, the Navy, the Army, and the Air Force amounted approximately to £120,000,000. The Civil Service includes Post Office staffs and all the industrial, manipulative and part-time employés of the State.
