§ Mr. GREENWOODThe number of houses completed under the various Housing Acts by local authorities in England and Wales between 1st June, 1929, and 31st May, 1930, the latest date to which figures are at present available, was 59,794. The corresponding figure for the preceding 12 months was 55,771. The majority of these were built for letting, but detailed information on that subject is not available.
