§ Mr. N. BUXTONI have been asked to reply. As stated in my reply to the hon. Members for South Molton (Mr. Lambert) and Grantham (Sir V. Warrender) on 27th January, there is no machinery at1202W present in existence for obtaining statistics of the number of unemployed agricultural workers. The Government do not propose to adopt any special measures for obtaining, at the present time, detailed statistics on the subject, but I am arranging to receive from outdoor officers of the Ministry reports as to the extent of unemployment in their respective areas.
