Mr. THOMASWhile in Canada I met the representatives of the Wheat Pool and discussed with them the possibility of greater regularity in wheat shipments which might result, among other things, in a freer movement of tonnage between the St. Lawrence Basin and the United Kingdom, and so facilitate coal shipments from this country. I invited them to continue these discussions when they came to Europe on their own business.
