Mr. W. ADAMSONThe total number of houses completed in Scotland under the Government scheme for the erection of steel houses is 2,552. All the houses authorised by the scheme have been completed. The final cost of the housing has not yet been ascertained, but up to 31st December last the total sum advanced by the Department of Health for Scotland to the Second Scottish National Housing Company (Housing Trust), Ltd., in respect thereof was £1,038,688.
