Separate particulars are not available as regards the number of persons in receipt of Poor Law relief in the borough of Woolwich, which is not co-extensive with one or more than one Poor Law area.

Army Ordnance Corps Depot at Didcot are accommodated in houses the property of the Government; whether it is intended to increase the number of men engaged at the depot in the near future; and, if so, what steps the Government propose to take to relieve the local authority and local ratepayers of meeting the financial obligations of providing houses for Government workers?

As regards the first part of the question, there are 1,016 civilian employés at the Royal A my Ordnance Corps Depot at Didcot of whom 129 are accommodated in Government houses. As regards the last part of the question, there has been no decision to increase-the number of men engaged at the depot.
