§ Mr. LANSBURYAs I have already informed the hon. Member for Chislehurst (Mr. Smithers), the possibilities of transferring official staffs from premises in the central area of London were exhaustively investigated by a Committee some years ago, and I am satisfied that no further steps can be taken in that direction at the present time. No useful purpose would therefore be served by the appointment of a committee as suggested in the second part of the question.
