§ Mr. LEES-SMITHThe possibility of making some reduction in the rates on the Anglo-American telephone service is under discussion with the company-operating the New York terminal, but I am not in a position at present to make any statement on the subject. It should be borne in mind that the conditions under which the Anglo-American service is worked differ materially from those which will apply to telephone services with the Dominions.
