SAMUELasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will examine the present methods by which securities within the scope of the Trustee Act, 1925, and/or upon the Treasury list of trustee securities are issued, registered, and transferred, with a view to finding means to reduce the possibility of such securities being subjected to fraudulent treatment, as was disclosed in a recent criminal prosecution?
§ Mr. P. SNOWDENI shall be pleased to consider any suggestions that the hon. Member has to make, though I am not altogether clear what measures special to trustee securities he has in mind.
