HC Deb 04 December 1930 vol 245 cc2405-6W
Miss WILKINSON

asked the Minister of Labour whether she is aware of the dissatisfaction at Middlesbrough caused by the refusal of the Employment Exchange to issue green cards to men who have been unemployed for considerable periods, which refusal prevents their getting work in grant-earning schemes; and whether she will have inquiries made into the complaint?

Miss BONDFIELD

I am having inquiries made, and should be glad if my hon. Friend would repeat her question next week.
