HC Deb 02 December 1930 vol 245 c2016W
Mr. HOPKIN

asked the Home Secretary if the S.R. colliery, Cross Hands, Llanelly, has been sold by the liquidator; if so, at what price; and what is now the position of the men from this colliery who have been awarded compensation?

Mr. CLYNES

I am informed by the receiver in charge of the colliery that he is in negotiation for the sale of the colliery, but that the arrangement is not yet completed. I am asking the receiver to inform me of the result of the negotiations and, on hearing from him, I will communicate again with my hon. Friend.
