§ Mr. BENNMr. Vallabhbhai Patel was sentenced under Section 71 of the Bombay District Police Act to three months' imprisonment and a fine of Rs.500 for attempting to make a speech in the Borsad Taluk of the Kaira District in defiance of an order passed by the District Magistrate under Section 42 of that Act. A copy of the Bombay District Police Act will be Found in the Library. The conditions of his imprisonment are governed by the Prison Rules in force in Bombay.
