asked the Minister of Agriculture the amounts paid in subsidies under the Corn Production Act in 1921 for wheat and oats, respectively?


The total amount paid in subsidies under the Corn Production Acts (Repeal) Act, in respect of wheat and oats produced in England and Wales in 1921, was £13,983,135. Of this amount approximately £5,700,000 was for
