§ Mr. BEAUMONTasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will publish in a White Paper the memoranda of November, 1928, on criminal and civil jurisdiction, which were drawn up by experts, judges, and practising lawyers at the instance of the British Union and British community in Egypt, and were transmitted to the Foreign Office by the High Commissioner?
Mr. A. HENDERSONThe memoranda to which the hon. Member refers are mainly of a technical character relating to the details of legal procedure. I do not think that any useful purpose would be served by publishing them in a White Paper.
