§ Mr. ALBERYasked the Minister of Transport whether his attention has been called to the case in which a driver of one of the motor coaches of the Majestic Company, Ebchester, was fined £1 for passing a motor car at a speed estimated at 50 to 60 miles an hour, and to the defence of the driver that he had to cover the 286 miles from London at an average speed of 30 miles an hour to keep to a time table; and whether he proposes to take any action?
§ Mr. HERBERT MORRISONThe question of time tables which involve the driving of public service vehicles at excessive speeds has recently been under the consideration of the Royal Commission on Transport and is dealt with in paragraph 129 of their Second Report352W which has just been issued.
