HC Deb 07 November 1929 vol 231 c1258W
Mr. G. GIBSON

asked the Minister of Labour if she has taken any steps to bring to an end the dispute in the textile industry of the West Riding of York shire; and, if no action has been taken, does she propose taking any steps to bring this dispute to an amicable and satisfactory conclusion?

Miss BONDFIELD

I have kept in the closest touch with the parties in the industry, and I hope that a settlement may yet be reached through the Joint Industrial Council in the industry.
