HC Deb 07 November 1929 vol 231 c1292W
Mr. DAY

asked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been called to the procedure adopted and the examination of witnesses during recent inquiries in coroners' courts; and will he consider, in conjunction with the Lord Chancellor, the appointment of a committee for the purpose of introducing legislation which will have as its object the amending of the Coroners Amendment Act and further clarifying the powers of coroners during such inquiries?

Mr. CLYNES

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply I gave to the right hon. Member for West Woolwich (Sir K. Wood) on the 29th October.
