HC Deb 06 November 1929 vol 231 cc1065-6W
Mr. GRANVILLE

asked the Home Secretary if he is aware of the dangerous traffic conditions in the immediate vicinity of this House; and if he will take steps to increase the number of the police on duty for the regulation of that traffic?

Mr. CLYNES

Police are specially posted to regulate traffic at all the principal crossings in the vicinity of the House when Parliament is sitting and I am not aware of any point where their number is not adequate for the purpose. If, however, the hon. Member has in mind any particular crossing where additional police are required, I will gladly have the position examined.
