HC Deb 06 November 1929 vol 231 c1080W
Mr. MANDER

asked the Prime Minister whether it is the intention of the Government to set up a joint Parliamentary Committee for the consideration of British policy in East Africa, with special reference to the position of the native races?

Mr. LUNN

As I informed the hon. Member for Kidderminster (Mr. Ward-law-Milne) on the 29th October, the whole question is receiving very careful consideration and my Noble Friend hopes to be able to make a statement in the course of this month as to the proposals of His Majesty's Government in the matter.
