HC Deb 04 November 1929 vol 231 cc649-50W
Mr. REMER

asked the Minister of Labour whether the British Government have had any conversations with the Government of the United States as to the Washington Hours Convention, to which that Government was not a party, arid as to the likelihood of that Government passing legislation in conformity with that convention?

Mr. LAWSON

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. With regard to the second part, I have no information.
