BRITTAINasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, with regard to the duty on packing and wrapping papers, any consideration has been given to the proposal to amend the Section of the Finance Act which imposes the duty by the addition of a condition that, for the purpose of calculation by the Customs of the one-sixth-proportion, any non-dutiable paper which would be dutiable if within the prescribed weight limits should not be included in the calculation?
