Figures relating to expenditure on old age pensions payable under the Contributory Pensions Act are not available as the records are not arranged on a territorial basis. † In addition to the annual grants for Health Services specified under heading 1, capital grants were made for Health Services of approximately £4,450 to Lewis and £200 to Harris. ‡ In addition to the annual grants specified under heading 2, capital grants for Agricultural Services were made of approximately £3,050 to Lewis and £50 to Harris and loans were made of approximately £9,300 to Lewis and £800 to Harris.
