§ Sir P. CUNLIFFE-LISTERAs the hon. Member is no doubt aware, the Royal Commission on the Coal Industry (1925) made certain investigations in regard to the question of mining royalties in different countries. The results of these inquiries are summarised in the Commission's Report, Volume 3, Appendix No. 24. I regret that I am not in possession of later information, which would require a detailed technical investigation of costs of production in the steel industry in the countries named.
