§ Mr. AMERYThe new £10 rate applies to British settlers proceeding to Canada as third-class passengers from Great Britain and Northern Ireland by British lines. The total number of such passengers during the four months ended 30th April, 1929, was 23,559, as compared with 16,514 during the same period of 1928, or an increase of approximately 42 per cent.
