§ Mr. DAYasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he can give the amounts expended by the Crown Agent for the Colonies to consulting engineers during the years 1926 and 1927 for advice relating to harbours, ships, railways and roads?
§ Mr. AMERYThe amounts expended in 1926 and 1927 were about £29,700 and £46,000 respectively. The figure for 1928 was £51,000, as stated in my reply to the hon. Member's question on the 29th April, not £61,000 as shown in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
