§ Mr. SCRYMGEOURasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that churches, corporations, education authorities, committees, lessees, and others in charge of halls are seriously concerned over the provisions of the Copyright Act affecting the possible performance of copyright music within halls under their charge; and, if so, will he consider the advisability of so amending the Act as to exclude those authorities from any responsibility to the Performing Rights Society by directing all claims to be met at the source in the price charged for the music?
