§ Miss LAWRENCEThe coming into force of the Local Government Act, 1929, and particularly the transfer of the work of the guardians to the larger public health authorities, will afford an opportunity for securing better co-ordination of the health services of the country, and my right hon. Friend proposes to watch the effect of this Measure before considering further schemes having that object in view.
