Mr. ALEXANDERThe numbers of workpeople discharged for all causes in all the Departments at each of the dockyard ports during the four weeks ended 20th July are: Portsmouth, 30; Devon-port, 35; Chatham, 76; Sheerness, 7. The discharges on reduction included in the foregoing are: Portsmouth, 4; Devonport, 8; Chatham, 54; Sheerness, none.
