§ Sir R. GOWERasked the First Lord of the Admiralty if he has taken any and, if so, what steps to find substituted work for the workmen discharged by his Department from the naval dockyard at Chatham during the past few days?
Mr. ALEXANDERThe whole question of future work in all the Royal Dockyards is being carefully considered by the Government.
