§ Mr. T. WILLIAMSasked the Minister of Agriculture if he is aware of the difficulties experienced by several farmers in 1166W the Tickhill area during the present winter due to lack of drainage; that a considerable area of land has been waterlogged and is impossible to cultivate; and, as this land extends into two administrative counties whether it is included in any large drainage scheme at present under consideration?
Mr. GUINNESSI am unable to trace the receipt of any representations regarding drainage conditions in the Tickhill area. Lands in this vicinity are, however, included in what is generally known as the Doncaster area, in respect of which I am about to introduce a Bill based on the recommendations of the Special Commission which reported last year. In the meantime, I will bring the matter to the notice of the two county councils, concerned.
