§ Major POLEasked the Secretary of State for India whether he has been notified by the British Medical Council as to their decision in respect of the position in this country of graduates holding Indian medical degrees?
§ Mr. BENNAs matters stand, the recognition of Indian medical degrees is governed by the resolution of the executive committee of the General Medical Council of 22nd July last. There has 699W been no later decision by the General Medical Council, but I understand that the situation which has since arisen will be considered by the executive committee at its next meeting in February.
