§ Mr. SHINWELLThe mechanisation of only one regiment is at present com-286W plete, and even in that case the full complement of approved equipment has not yet been issued, and to some extent extemporised arrangements are consequently still in force. It is not therefore possible to give the complete annual cost of a mechanised regiment.
