asked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been called to the fact that a great many town councils have antiquated by-laws affecting the regulation of traffic; and whether he will suggest to all of them the desirability of bringing them up to date?

Mr. CLYNES

No, Sir, I am not aware of this, but if the hon. Member will furnish me with particulars of any cases of the kind he mentions, I shall he happy to consider them.
