HC Deb 20 November 1928 vol 222 cc1571-2W
Mr. GROVES

asked the Minister of Pensions if he has considered the representations made to him by the annual conference of the British Legion (Scotland), urging the removal of the seven-years' time limit in regard to pension claims and the reintroduction of the medical examination of all disabled men' who have no pension and whose disabilities have reasserted themselves; and whether he is prepared to introduce the necessary amending legislation?

Major TRYON

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. With regard to the latter part, I am afraid that I can add nothing to the reply which I gave on the 8th instant to a question on the same subject from the hon. Member for Shoreditch (Mr Thurtle), of which I am sending the hon Member a copy.
