HC Deb 12 November 1928 vol 222 c508W
Mr. R. HUDSON

asked the Minister of Labour whether any regulations have been made by his Department whereby when a worker who is himself not ill has to abstain from work on account of infection in his family he cannot get unemployment benefit?

Mr. BETTERTON

I have seen the statement referred to. It is not correct. An insured worker who is not himself ill and has to stay away from his work on account of infection in his family would not, on that account, lose any unemployment benefit to which he is otherwise entitled.
