asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what was the number of revenue Betting Duty tickets sold during the first four months of 1927 and the first four months in 1928, and the cost of printing these tickets?

Records of sales of Betting Duty tickets are collected quarterly. The numbers of tickets sold in the first quarter of the years 1927 and 1928 were 3,209,100 and 2,058,300 respectively, and the cost of printing these tickets was approximately £520 and £330.
