HC Deb 16 May 1928 vol 217 c1047W
Mr. ROBINSON

asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, when it is proposed to remove the old kerb stones and other debris that are apparently used to support the embankment wall in Victoria Gardens?

Sir V. HENDERSON

I would refer the hon. Member to my reply given to his question on 28th March. My Noble Friend must be guided in such a matter by expert advice, and it is not possible to say at present when the investigation being undertaken by the Liverpool Tidal Institute will be completed. In the meantime, my Noble Friend regrets that he cannot remove the existing temporary reinforcement.
