§ Mr. AMERYAn Ordinance entitled the Illegal Strikes and Lock-outs Ordinance, 1927, was passed last year in Hong Kong. It is based on the Imperial Trade Disputes and Trade Unions Act, 1927, and provides for the prohibition of strikes in certain circumstances and for the regulation of trade unions. In addition, labour unions, if acting unlawfully, may come within the scope of the Societies Ordinances, 1920, and of the Regulations made under the Emergency Regulations Ordinance, 1922.
