§ Sir J. GILMOURI have been asked to reply. So far as I am aware, the vessel referred to in the first part of the question has not yet actually engaged in herring fishing, and data as to results from the vessel under practical working1250W conditions are not therefore available. In the circumstances, any request by the industry for credit facilities for the purpose of providing vessels of this type would clearly be premature.
