§ Mr. DAYasked the Under-Secretary of State for India whether he has now received the decision of the Government of India as to whether they consider legislation is advisable to control the practice by which employers in industrial concerns inflict fines on their workmen; and can he make a statement on the subject.
§ Earl WINTERTONI would refer to the reply given to the hon. Member for Bow and Bromley (Mr. Lansbury) on 13th June, to which I have at present nothing to add.
