§ Mr. MORRISasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the League Council has reached any decision with regard to the proposal that The International Courts of Justice at the Hague should determine the question whether the mixed arbitral tribunal established under the Treaty of Trianon is competent to deal with the dispute between the Hungarian nationals and Rumania: and what is the attitude of His Majesty's representatives with regard to that proposal.

GOWERasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (1) if the Council of the League of Nations proposes to obtain an advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice at The Hague as to the competence of the mixed arbitral tribunal constituted under the Treaty of Trianon to hear and adjudicate on the dispute between the Hungarian nationals and Rumania;
(2) whether he can give any further information as to the action of the League of Nations with regard to filling up the vacancy on the mixed arbitral tribunal to which application was made for hearing the dispute between the Hungarian optants and Rumania as provided by the Treaty of Trianon?
Lieut.-Colonel MOOREasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs 994W whether any progress has been made at the recent meeting of the League of Nations at Geneva towards obtaining a judicial decision on the claims of the Hungarian nationals against Rumania, which have long been pending before the mixed arbitral tribunal established pursuant to the provisions of the Treaty of Trianon?
