§ Colonel ASHLEYNo general record is kept tabulating every accident that occurs in consequence of the use of mechanically - propelled vehicles upon roads. With regard to the provision of footways, I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the reply which was made to the hon. and gallant Member for the Hitchin Division (Major Kindersley) on the 20th February, of which I am sending him a copy.
