Mr. SAMUELThese drawings are so numerous that I fear I cannot circulate a complete list; but an inventory of all the Turner drawings is contained in Sinberg's "National Gallery: Turner Drawings: Inventory," published by the Stationery Office in 1909. About 15,000 of of the drawings, many of which are sketches of the very slightest nature, were damaged by the flooding of the Gallery, none, it is believed, seriously.
