asked whether the Government have yet been able to ascertain whether the Royal Commission on Road Traffic is disposed to present an Interim Report on questions concerning the safety of those using the roads?

I understand that my right hon. and gallant friend the Minister of Transport is bringing the proposals contained in the noble Viscount's Bill and the Report of the discussion in this House to the attention of the Royal Commission on Transport which meets to-morrow. He is also in communication with the Chairman as to the advisability of an Interim Report.
