§ Sir A. CHAMBERLAINAs regards the first part of his question, I would refer the hon. Member to my reply to the hon. Member for Penistone (Mr. Rennie Smith) on 28th November. I am always anxious to do all in my power to promote a friendly settlement of outstanding questions, and shall certainly continue my efforts in this direction whenever an opportunity presents itself.
